Privacy Policy

Wizoma ("we", "our") is committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25) and the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

Information collected

We collect the following information: name, email address, and phone number of prospects using the conversational widget; account information of registered contractors (email, business name); conversation data generated by the widget; and payment information processed by Stripe.

Use of information

Your information is used to provide the Wizoma service, send lead notifications to contractors, improve our product, and communicate with you about your account.

Automated assistant

The Wizoma widget uses an automated assistant to respond to visitors, ask qualification questions, and prepare a project summary. Information provided in the conversation may be processed by our technology providers to generate the response and send the lead to the relevant contractor.

Safeguards

We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect personal information, based on its sensitivity, use, quantity, and format. Access to data is limited to the people and providers who need it to deliver the service.

Sharing of information

We never sell your data. We share your information only with our service providers: Supabase (database, Canada/USA hosting), OpenAI (artificial intelligence, processed in the United States), Resend (emails), Telnyx (SMS), and Stripe (payments). These providers are bound by strict confidentiality obligations and are selected for their PIPEDA compliance.

Data retention

Registered contractor data is retained for as long as the account is active. Prospect data collected via the widget is retained for a maximum of 24 months after the last interaction, then automatically deleted. You may request deletion of your data at any time by writing to hello@wizoma.com.

Your rights

In accordance with Law 25 and PIPEDA, you have the right to access, correct, delete, and receive a portable copy of your data. To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@wizoma.com. We respond within 30 days.

Transfers outside Quebec

Some data is processed by providers located outside Quebec, including OpenAI (United States) for conversation processing. Before using these providers, Wizoma assesses transfer-related risks and requires protection commitments adapted to the information being processed.
